what is nyktoㅤㅤㅤ?

Nykto was made as a last hail mary to my mental health. I needed something to do with my hands, my time, my thoughts, and something to look forward to---so i deleted all my social media and started. Did it work? No. not really. I'm still sad, I'm still mad, I'm still the same. But at the same time now I'm here instead of my bathroom floor. I feel alive. The truth is that I can never rid myself of mental illness completely, but I can make myself think a little less about it.

I'm always really bad at describing myself cause my aesthetics and personality change so often. Especially depending on who I'm talking to at the moment. I cope by abandoning all social media which is why im really bad at responding to dms and often avoid social interaction at all times unless absolutely necessary. I'm the type of friend who almost never reaches out first which is really bad I know which is why I'm trying to unlearn it...

Most days you can find me asleep, hunched over my laptop, or reading bl on my phone. whenever I get into something I will not shut up about it. As a kid i was really into egyptian gods and mytholygy to the point that my dad bought me a 50 dollar encyclopedia of it. I'm very lucky to have a dad who supported my interests and gave me wiggle room to discover new things, because now i inherit his merch...♡

I've been told that my type is either buff, tortured men who bottle up their emotions or traumatize men who traumatize their lover because they think that's what love is/they don't know how else to express it. Sometimes whenever i speak to people i might sound a little bored. I prommy I'm not sometimes my brain just turns itself off !!!!!!!!!!!!!
